The 2023 season saw the return of Rickie Fowler to the top of the game of golf, a lot of which is down to his putter.
At the start of the year, having tried out his caddie, Joe Toulon putter during a friendly game, Fowler started using the Odyssey Versa Jailbird putter.
The putter is longer than a normal length putter and features a 17 inch grip to allow for a counterbalance effect.
Prior to changing to the Odyssey Versa Jailbird, Fowler had been struggling on the greens and had tried a few other models, none of which were very effective.

During the 2012-2022 PGA Tour season, Fowler was ranked 124th in Putting Average, 161st in Strokes Gained: Putting and 106th in One-Putt Percentage.
But the change at the start of 2023 saw him increase to 19th, 48th and 39th respectively.
The change in Rickie Fowler's putter and the resulting improvement in performance including a first PGA Tour for four seasons led to a huge growth in demand for the Odyssey Versa Jailbird mallet.
Other tour players, such as Wyndham Clark put in a request for a copy of the putter and a direct result of Fowler putting it into play so successfully.
The great thing about this model of Odyssesy is the colour block design which helps with alignment, showing path and face angle.
