Viktor Hovland burst onto the professional golf scene in 2019 having led the world in the amateur ranks and has quickly become one of the best golfers in the world.
The Norwegian golfer has already won multiple times on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, including the 2023 FedEx Cup and was also a key player for the winning European team at the 2023 Ryder Cup.
A lot of this is down to his solid ball striking from tee to green but also the fact that he can hole putts when he needs to.
Hovland, a Ping staff player, uses a Ping PLD DS72 putter with 36" shaft for a counterbalanced effect.
This allows for him to grip slightly down on the shaft, about 1.5 inches and gives him a more controlled feel during the putting stroke.

As a result, his putting is well above average on tour and it's been a huge factor in the scores he's been shooting.
Hovland was 10th in Putting Average for the 2022-23 PGA Tour season which also led to a 34.98% Birdie or Better Conversion rate.
This led to him winning the 2023 BMW Championship and the Tour Championship the following week to earn him the FedEx Cup title.
