You don't need us to explain to you how important having a good putter set up is. We sell the best putter grips on the market, after all.
But putting is a game within a game. If you can learn to putt well, your scores will dramatically improve and you'll start playing much better golf.
When it comes to putting, who's the player that is forever lighting it up with the flat stick? Who's holing seemingly everything they look at and making the down hill 6 footer look easy?
In this article, we'll have a look at some of the best putters in the world and see how you can learn from their games.
Best Putter In The World
Matt Fitzpatrick
Starting off our list of best putters is the 2022 US Open champ Matt Fitzpatrick.
The Englishman is one of the most solid players on both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour.
At 11th in Strokes Gained: Putting and 13th in Putts Per Round for the 2023 PGA Tour season, his flat stick is certainly one of the best areas of his game.
He also finished 3rd in Total Putting and holed just about everything on his way to winning his first major in 2022.

Max Homa
Max Homa is not only one of the best ball strikers on tour he's also one of the best on the greens.
6th in Strokes Gained: Putting, 3rd in Putting Average and 7th in Putts Per Round meant that he picked up two PGA Tour wins last season, as well as his first DP World Tour win in South Africa.
Homa has a very neutral putting stroke and grip, which works well for him and helps him hole plenty of putts under pressure.
Lilia Vu
When it comes to putting, you can't look past the 2023 LPGA Tour Player of the Year, Lilia Vu.
A year which included four wins, two of which were major championships, Vu was 2nd in Putts Per GIR on the LPGA Tour.
Although her long game was a crucial part to her breakout year, it was her work on the greens which ultimately separated her from the rest of the field on multiple weeks.
Gavin Green
Perhaps not one of the biggest names on the list, but Gavin Green is one of the best putters on the DP World Tour.
1st in Strokes Gained: Putting, 3rd in Putts Per GIR and 3rd in Putts Per Round, the three most important stats in putting.
He's incredibly solid with the flat stick and although his overall results don't show it, Green is very good on the greens.
Lydia Ko
Lydia Ko is one of the best golfers on the LPGA Tour, partly thanks to her great putting game.
In 2023 she finished 4th in both Putting Average and Putts Per GIR and ended up 11th in the Rolex Rankings.
